San Marino are still regarded as football’s weakest nation, having lost 187 official matches since they gained FIFA affiliation in 1990. A narrow 1-0 win at home to Liechtenstein back in April 2004 is their only triumph on the international scene, while they have drawn six other matches. In their last outing against Malta, Zach Muscat’s lone goal in the 50th-minute was enough to separate the two sides at Ta’ Qali national stadium. Seychelles, on the other hand, conceded two times against Mauritius on June 18. The Pirates have taken part in a total of 161 international, winning 24, drawing 28 and losing 109.

San Marino boss Constantini is unlikely to make too many alterations to the side that lost to Malta two three months ago. Vitaioli is likely to partner Nanni up front with Alessandro D’ Addario and Andrea Grandoni occupying the flanks.
