Hibernian are having their best period since the start of October, having pocketed seven points from their last three fixtures. Hibs netted six times against Aberdeen without reply, courtesy of Josh Campbell’s hat-trick and one goal each from Elie Youan, Kevin Nisbet and Will Fish. It was a very dominant performance from the Cabbage as they restricted Aberdeen to zero shots on target. Prior to the Aberdeen win, The Hibees got knocked out of the Scottish Cup after losing 3-0 to Hearts in the fourth round match on January 22. As of now, Hibs are nine points adrift of their-placed Hearts, who are in control of the Europa Conference League qualification spot. 

Ross County, on the other hand, are fighting to avoid relegation, having lost 13 of their 23 top flight matches this season. The Staggies have recorded just five league-wins this campaign, and their latest victory came against Kilmarnock last Saturday. Eamonn Brophy opened the scoring inside the opening 13 minutes, before second half strikes from Jordan White and Yan Dhanda sealed three points for Ross County. Prior to that, Malky Mackay’s side lost 5-3 on penalties to Hamilton in the fourth round of the domestic cup competition, after the match ended goalless in regulation time.
