The stunning run of form has helped the Red and Blacks to move to the third spot in the French top tier standings, having collected 31 points from 15 games, while Reims are sitting at the 11th position, with 17 points to their name.

Reims are heading into the match on the back of a nine game unbeaten run domestically. In their last competitive game, Marshall Munetsi broke the deadlock three minutes from time and the Red and Whites looked set to secure a win, but Sacha Delaye’s 91st-minute equaliser meant that the points were shared. Under the caretaker manager William Still, Les Rouges et Blancs have solidified their defence, having kept four clean sheets in their last six league-games.Rennes, on the other hand, have a strong attacking unit, which has netted 31 times domestically. Their last outing against Toulouse ended in a victory, courtesy of Benjamin Bourigeaud’s opener and Arnold Kalimuendo’s second half strike. It was the Red and Blacks’ ninth league-win of the campaign.

Probable Lineups 

Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun in Reims’ biggest attacking threat this term, as the 21-year-old is fifth in the race for the Golden Boot, having netted eight times thus far. Yehvann Diouf, who has conceded just two goals in the last six league-games, is likely to continue in goal, with De Smet, Abdelhamid, Agbadou and Foket forming the for-man defence in front of him. As for Rennes, Warmed Omari is sidelined with a groin injury and Birget Meling missed the previous match through suspension. .
