Reims will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to a whopping 20 games when they host Marseille on Sunday night. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Monaco last Sunday, while Marseille played out a 2-2 draw against Strasbourg, a day later. Reims are currently occupying ninth spot in the French top flight standings, having collected 43 points from 27 games, just seven adrift of fifth-placed Rennes, who have played an extra match. The visitors, meanwhile, are sitting at the third position, with 56 points to their name, ten adrift of leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

Reims defeated Monaco in their last outing courtesy of Folarin Balogun’s 51st-minute effort. It was the Red and Whites’ third consecutive clean-sheet victory. Will Still’s side have recorded five wins from their last seven top flight games while keeping six clean sheets. Reims lost two of their first four home league games but have since taken 23 points from a possible 27 at Stade Auguste-Delaune, winning seven of their past eight matches in front of their own supporters. Three points on Sunday will take Still’s side to seventh spot, closing the gap on European qualification spot to just four points.
Marseille, on the other hand, have lost just one of their 13 away games in the French top flight this term, recording 10 wins and two draws in the process. The Olympians have pocketed 32 points from a possible 39 on their travels. Last time out, Igor Tudor’s side shared the spoils against Strasbourg despite taking a 2-0 lead courtesy of second-half efforts from chancel Mangulu and Alexis Sanchez. Jean-Eudes Aholou’s late double made the score 2-2 at stade Velodrome. Prior to that, the Phocaeans edged past Rennes, thanks to Saed Kolasinac’s lone goal in the second-half. It was their 17th league-win of the season.
