RB Leipzig will be aiming to defend their DFB-Pokal title when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt at Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday. Leipzig, who were formed in 2009, won their first major trophy in 2022 when they defeated Freiburg on penalties in the DFB-Pokal final, with Christopher Nkunku leveling the score despite Marcel Sabitzer being sent off after his side had already fallen behind. Meanwhile, when it comes to the DFB-Pokal, Olivier Glasner’s men defeated VFB Stuttgart 3-2 in the last four stage on May 4 courtesy of goals from Evan Ndicka, Daichi Kamada and Muani. With goals to his name, Muani is now leading the top scorer’s list, while Leipzig forward Timo Werner is in the second position, having netted five times.
