The hosts are heading into the tie on the back of a thumping 6-2 win over Helsingor in a friendly match on Sunday, while the visitors were last in action in March, when they recorded a narrow 2-1 win over AaB. Randers are preparing for the upcoming Danish Superliga season beginning on July 15 while the visitors are getting ready for the 1st Division.
Randers will begin their Danish Superliga campaign against Midtjylland on July 15. At the end of the 2021-22 season, the Horses finished at the 5th spot in the 12-team table with 33 points from 22 games. Vendsyssel, on the other hand, finished 8th in the 1st Division table consisting of 12 teams. VFF registered five wins and nine draws to pocket 24 points at the end of the regular season.
