Partizan are heading into the match on the back of a four game winless streak across all competition. Prior to the reverse fixture loss at AEK Larnaca, the Serbian outfit suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Novi Pazar last month. Ilija Stolica’s side last recorded a victory on July 9 against Javor Ivanjica (4-0). AEK Larnaca, on the other hand, finished second in the Cyprus First Division championship standings to earn a spot in the second round of the Champions League qualification.
