Partizan will host AEK Larnaca in the second leg of their Europa League third round qualification at the Partizan stadium on Thursday night. The first leg at AEK Arena had ended 2-1 in favour of AEK Larnaca. Queensy Menig gave an early lead to the Serbian outfit before goals from Angel Garcia and Hrvoje Milicevic helped Larnaca secure the win. Partizan finished second in the super Liga last term to earn a spot in the third round of Europa League qualification. Larnaca, on the other hand, suffered a 4-3 defeat on penalties against Midtjylland in the second leg of the Champions League second round qualification and were dumped down to the Europa League qualifiers.

Partizan are heading into the match on the back of a four game winless streak across all competition. Prior to the reverse fixture loss at AEK Larnaca, the Serbian outfit suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Novi Pazar last month. Ilija Stolica’s side last recorded a victory on July 9 against Javor Ivanjica (4-0). AEK Larnaca, on the other hand, finished second in the Cyprus First Division championship standings to earn a spot in the second round of the Champions League qualification. However, the Green-Yellows played out 1-1 draws in both legs of the tie before eventually losing out 4-3 on penalties.  

Probable Lineups

Partizan midfielder Danilo Pantic is sidelined with an ACL injury, while Nemanja Jovic is also sidelined with a knee problem. Gomes is likely to lead the line with Diabate and Menig in support. As for AEK Larnaca, Andreas Paraskevas is nursing a cruciate ligament injury. Milicevic, who scored the winner in the reverse fixture, is likely to partner Tomovic in the heart of the defence.
