The home side did manage to avoid defeats in two of their last three games. But it might not be enough if Liverpool kick into top gear. Nonetheless, they can take comfort from their form against the Reds at City Ground. These two sides have met each other five times on this ground in the Premier League. Liverpool have not won any of them, while Nottingham Forest have registered victories on two occasions, while the remaining three matches ended in draws. In the league, they have not faced each other on this ground since 1999 but in the FA Cup, they played one another earlier this March. Diogo Jota’s only goal was enough for Liverpool to get the win in the quarterfinals.
