Norwich shared the spoils against Reading after Grant Hanley’s opener was canceled out by Keff Hendrick’s 60th-minute strike. It was the Canaries’ third league draw of the campaign. Prior to that, Dean Smith’s side got the better of Blackpool courtesy of Teemu Pukki’s lone goal in the 21st minute. Norwich are unbeaten in their last seven games and have recorded five wins in that period. Meanwhile, Smith’s side are yet to concede away from home this season.
Preston, on the other hand, defeated West Brom in their last outing, courtesy of Emil Riis Jakobsen’s lone goal, inside the opening seven minutes. It was the Lilywhites’ third league win of the season. Ryan Lowe’s side boasts the best defensive record in the league, having conceded only four times thus far, while they also have the worst attacking record, with just four goals scored in 12 games. Preston have only seen more than one goal conceded on one occasion, which was a 2-0 home defeat against leaders Sheffield United.
