The previous meeting between these two sides was almost six months ago, which ended 2-1 in favour of Hull, thanks to Oscar Estupinan’s brace at MKM Stadium.
Norwich City and Hull City will square-off in the EFL Championship at Carrow Road on Tuesday night. Both sides are heading into the match on the back of contrasting forms, as the hosts had lost their last two outings, while Hull City recorded two wins from their last three games. As of now, Norwich are sitting at the 10th spot in the English second tier standings, having collected 42 points from 30 games, while the visitor, who have played a game extra, are sitting one place behind the Canaries, separated by just a solitary point.

Norwich are heading into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bristol City last Saturday. Mark Sykes’ 24th-minute effort separated the two sides at Ashton Gate and handed the Canaries their 12th second tier defeat of the season. Prior to that, David Wagner’ side got thrashed 3-0 by Burnley at home, following a 4-2 win away to Coventry City. Michel Rose’s own goal and one goal each from Onel Hernandez, Josh Sargent and Kieran Dowell at Coventry Building Society Arena helped Norwich register their 12th league-win of the campaign. Norwich are currently four points adrift of sixth-placed Watford, who are occupying the final playoff spot.
Hull City, on the other hand, have managed to turn their fortunes in the last couple of weeks, having won four of their last seven matches. Since losing 1-0 to second-placed Sheffield United on January 20, Liam Rosenior’s side have taken seven points from their next three outings, without conceding a single goal. The Tigers thrashed Queens Park Rangers 3-0 on January 28, before edging past Cardiff 1-0, a week later. Cyrus Christie’s second half goal helped Hull get the better of Cardiff at home and record their 11th second tier win of the season. But last time out, Hull played out a goalless draw against Stoke City at Bet 365 stadium.
