Sweden will be bidding to bounce back from the heavy defeat to Belgium in their opening match of UEFA Euro 2024 qualification campaign when they host Azerbaijan at Friends Arena on Monday night. The hosts were thrashed 3-0 by Belgium on Friday, while Azerbaijan suffered a 4-1 defeat to Austria in their opening match of Group F. Meanwhile, the two nations have faced each other only two times in the past and both of those 2002 World Cup qualification games ended in favour of Sweden.

With Belgium clear favourites to top Group F, Sweden and Austria are expected to battle for the second automatic qualifying spot.
