Mirandes are currently sitting 11 points behind the playoff spot (top-six) and 10 points clear of the relegation zone. The Reds finished 11th, 10th and 14th in their last three campaigns at this level. So it is not surprising to see them currently occupying a mid-table position. Eibar, on the other hand, got the better of Burgos last Saturday thanks to Jon Bautista’s lone goal inside the opening 34 minutes at Municipal de Ipurua. Gaizka Garitano’s side have now been victorious in 17 of their 31 league-games this season. The Gunsmiths spent seven straight seasons in La Liga between 2014 and 2021 before their relegation. Blue and Carmines’ away form in the second division this term hasn’t been very great, collecting 22 points from a possible 45. Meanwhile, the six previous encounters between these two sides have ended in draws.
