Gillingham will host Crewe Alexandra in a League Two fixture at Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday night. Both sides are heading into the match on the back of defeats last weekend, with the hosts losing 2-0 to Walsall, while the Railwaymen were beaten 1-0 by Northampton Town. Gillingham are currently languishing at the 20th spot in the English fourth tier standings, having collected 38 points from 36 games, six clear of the relegation zone. The visitors, meanwhile, are sitting two places above the Gills, separated by four points.

Gillingham lost to Walsall last Saturday, courtesy of second half efforts from Isaac Hutchinson and Conor Wilkinson. Prior to that, Neil Harris’s side defeated Tranmere with an identical scoreline, thanks to Shaun Williams’ 32nd-minute opener and an 83rd-minute effort from Conor Masterson. It was their ninth fourth tier victory of the season. Meanwhile Harris’s men have won five of their six League Two games at Priestfield Stadium since the turn of the year, scoring atleast twice in four of those matches and only losing to sixth-placed Bradford City.
