MLS All-Stars will be taking on Liga MX All-Stars in the 26th edition of the Major League Soccer All-Star game. This fixture is nothing new for the MLS fans as in the previous years the best players from the league came together to face top European clubs. However, since last year this affair has become all North American with the MLS All-Stars clashing against their cross border rivals from Mexico. MLS All-Stars won the fixture last year thanks to a penalty shootout.

It is anyone’s guess as to what the lineups will be for the game when the roster from both the sides have deserving and talented individuals. What is guaranteed is a place for Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez in the MLS All-Stars after the Mexican was elected as the captain of the squad thanks to a fan vote. His counterpart from the Liga MX All-Stars will be goalkeeper, Camilo Vargas. The Mexican outfit will be without the services of Andre-Pierre Gignac and Willian Tesillo, both who have withdrawn their names from the fixture.
