Millwall will host Blackpool in an EFL Championship fixture at the Den on Saturday evening. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers last Wednesday, while Blackpool were thrashed 3-0 by Rotherham United a day later. Millwall are currently occupying 19th position in the standings with ten points from nine games, just one point clear of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, the visitors are sitting at the 16th spot, having pocketed 11 points.

Millwal have won just one of their last six league games. In their recent match against QPR, after a goalless first half, strikes from Chris Willock and Stefan Johansen condemned the Lions to their fourth league defeat in their last five matches without scoring. Blackpool, on the other hand, have lost only two league games thus far. Last Thursday, the Tangerines went a goal down in the 34th minute courtesy of a strike from Chiedozie Ogbene, before goals from Wes Harding and Georgie Kelly in the final eight minutes saw Rotherham secure the win.
