Mallorca will be taking on Almeria in the matchday six of La Liga Santander 2022/23. Both the teams have experienced very similar starts to their respective campaigns. Mallorca currently sit at the 13th spot with five points while Almeria are a place below them at 14th with four points. With very little to choose between the two sides, it promises to be an entertaining match.

Mallorca will feel disappointed with their recent results as they haven’t really taken full advantage of them. In their last six games, they have managed just one win to go with three draws and two defeats. It will be these draws which will greatly hurt Mallorca as they were golden opportunities for them to earn some valuable points in the table. Still, with a long part of season still to go, Mallorca have ample space to showcase their true qualities.
Almeria’s experience in the top flight having gained promotion from the Segunda division hasn’t been easy at all till now. Although, they would have anticipated these complications before the season, Almeria still fill feel disappointed with results like 1-0 defeat to Real Valladolid and another 1-0 defeat to Osasuna. Almeria will be aware that they need to perform in these matches to avoid dropping back into the second tier.
Amath Ndiaye, Dominik Greif and Tino Kadewere will miss out for Mallorca due to injury woes. Almeria, on the other hand, will travel without the services of Alex Centelles, Cesar de la Hoz, Ivan Martos and Juanjo.
