Nouhoum Diane’s men put up a strong defensive performance against Chebba, but offered very little going forward. Les Aigles have now stretched their unbeaten run across all competitions to four matches. Meanwhile, prior to the draw against Chebba, Diane’ side came from behind to earn a draw against Algeria in November, courtesy of Massadio Haidara’s 58th-minute equaliser. Angola, on the other hand, shared the spoils in their last outing against Servette FC through Jo Paciencia’s equaliser on the stroke of half-time. As a result Black Antelopes are unbeaten in eight games on the spin across all competitions.
