Maccabi Haifa will be entering the match off the back of a 2-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in an Israeli Premier League fixture last Saturday. Dean David scored a late double to help the Greens to secure the win and take their points tally to 15 from seven games, just one point above second-placed Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli top flight standings. Meanwhile against Juventus, last Wednesday, David scored a consolation goal, fifteen minutes from time.
Juventus, on the other hand, are heading into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to AC Milan in a Serie A match on Saturday. Goals from Fikayo Tomori and Brahim Diaz handed Bianconeri their second league defeat of the campaign. With three wins and four draws, Massimiliano Allegri’s side are occupying eighth spot in the Serie A standings. Meanwhile, the Italian club’s first two Champions League games of the season, against Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain, ended in defeats, last month.

Juventus defender Matteo De Sciglio is sidelined with thigh injury, joining the likes of Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa in the medical room. Meanwhile Angel Di Maria is back from a domestic suspension and is expected to join Vlahovic and Kostic up front. Leandro Paraedes, Rabiot and McKennie could form the midfield-trio. As for Maccabi Haifa, Mahmoud Jaber and Suf Podgoreanu are nursing injuries and won’t be available for Tuesday’s game. Atzili could partner Pierrot up front with Sundgren and Goldberg occupying the flanks.
