Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to make it three consecutive wins in the Premier League when they travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City on Saturday. Spurs are heading into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over reigning champions Manchester City last Sunday, while Leicester got the better of Aston Villa 4-2, a day earlier. The victory helped the visitors to move to 39 points from 22 games, just one adrift of fourth-placed Newcastle United, who have a game in hand. The Foxes, meanwhile, are languishing at the 14th position in the English top flight standings, with 21 points to their name from as many games, just three clear of the relegation zone.

Leicester defeated Aston villa, courtesy of goals from James Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho, Tete and Dennis Praet. It was their sixth league-win of the season. Prior to that, the Foxes edged past Walsall in the FA Cup fourth round fixture. Iheanacho’s lone goal two minutes from time separated the two sides at Bescot Stadium, and helped Brendan Rodgers’ side progress to the quarter-finals of the Cup competition. Meanwhile, Leicester have taken just one point from their last 12 on offer at the King Power Stadium, failing to score in three before putting two past Brighton & Hove Albion in the 2-2 draw.
Spurs, on the other hand, would be on cloud 9 after securing a thrilling victory against Manchester City last time out. Antonico Conte’s side broke the deadlock inside the opening 15 minutes, through Kane’s first-time effort from inside the box after being set up by Pierrer Emile Hojbjerg. The North London side produced a solid defensive performance to hold on to the slender lead and secure their 12th top flight victory of the season. Prior to that, Spurs thrashed second tier side Preston North End 3-0 in the FA Cup fourth round encounter. Son Heng-min scored a second-half brace, before January signing Arnaut Danjuma’s late effort sealed the win for Spurs at Deepdale, ensuring their passage to the fifth round of the Cup competition.
Leicester City defender Ricardo Pereira and Johny Evans are back to the squad after recovering from injuries, while Ryan Bertrand and James Justin are still occupying the medical room. Iheanacho will continue to lead the line, with Harvey Barnes, Maddison and Tete in support. As for Tottenham, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is sidelined with a long term injury, joining Yves Bissouma in the treatment room. Centre-back christian Romero is suspended for Saturday’s game following his red card in the last outings, so either Clement Lenglet or Davison Sanchez could join Eric Dier and Ben Davies in the back-three.
Leicester City Probable line-up: Ward, Castagne, Souttar, Faes, Kristiansen, Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall, Tete, Maddison, Barnes, Iheanacho
Tottenham Hotspur probable line-up: Forster, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic, Kulusevski, Kane, Son
