Juventus have made a mixed start to their new Serie A campaign, registering two wins and three draws so for. In their last Serie A match at Fiorentina, the Bianconeri were held to a 1-1 draw after Arkadiusz Milik’s opener was canceled out by Christian Kouame. After that, Massimiliano Allegri’s side traveled to Paris for the Champions League Group H fixture. Kylian Mbappe netted a first half brace for the Parisians. Although West Mckennie pulled one goal back for the visitors, the Ligue 1 outfit held on to the slender lead and secured the win.
Salernitana, on the other hand, have made an impressive start to their Italian top flight season, having recorded one win, three draws and one defeat thus far. In their last match against Empoli, Pasquale Mazzocchi and Boulaye Dia found the back of the net for the Garnets to earn a point. Salernita’s only victory this season came against Sampdoria on August 28 courtesy of four unanswered goals by Dia, Federico Bonazzoli, Tonny Vilhena, Erik Bothem.
