Ivory Coast vs Guinea: International Friendly Live Stream, Schedule, Fixture and Probable Lineups

Ivory Coast will take on Guinea in an international friendly at Stadede La Licorne in France on Tuesday. Both sides missed out on World Cup qualification as they failed to progress beyond the group stage. The Elephants are heading into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Togo on Saturday, while Guinea suffered a 1-0 defeat against Algeria on the same day. Ivory Coast got the better of Togo at Stade Robert Diochon courtesy of two second-half goals from Seko Fofana and Franck Kessie.

Although the Sparrow Hawks pulled on back through Karim Dermane, five minutes from time, Jean Louis-Gasset’s side managed to hold on to the slender lead and secured the victory. The Elephants are now unbeaten in six matches. Guinea, on the other hand, suffered a narrow loss against Algeria in their last outing courtesy of Islam Slimani’s lone goal, eleven minutes from time. Prior to that, the National Elephants got the better of Malawi in an African Cup of Nations qualifier on June 9, before playing out a 1-1 draw against Mali in a friendly on August 22.

Probable Lineups

Ivory Coast striker Max Gradel is just one shy of his 100th international cap and the 34-year-old is likely to feature on Tuesday. Former Arsenal-man Nicolas Pep, who was an unused substitute against Togo, could come into the starting eleven. Crystal Palace-man Wilfried Zaha is likely to partner Wilfried Cornet up front. As for Guinea, Amadou Diawara and Ilaiz are expected to pull the strings in the midfield with Guirassy leading the line.
