ATK Mohun Bagan have big shoes to fill

The forward has played with various A-League clubs over his career and also plied his trade for European clubs like Brondby IF and Haldas. The striker played for Wellington Phoenix in 2018-19. Williams went on to form a lethal strike partnership in the initial two years for the Kolkata outfit. However, in the last season, Williams often played as a second fiddle to Krishna, getting only 656 minutes of game time in 17 appearances. With the departure of Williams, ATKMB have big shoes to fill and will need to find a like-for-like replacement to make sure their attacking firepower remains potent.

Williams set to join Mumbai City FC?

As reported by Times Of India, Williams is set to join Mumbai City FC. The Islanders failed to qualify for the play-offs, finishing three points adrift of the top four at the end of the ISL league stage last term. The Islanders have reportedly acquired the signature of Greg Stewart who played a pivotal role in Jamshedpur FC winning the League Shield last term.
