The victory helped Inzaghi’s side to enter the last-4 stage of Coppa Italia, where they will face Juventus in a two-legged tie in April. It was their 13th top flight victory of the season, taking their points tally to 40 from 20 matches, sitting at the second spot in the standings, 13 adrift of leaders Napoli.
Milan, on the other hand, are going through a tough period, having lost three consecutive games across all competitions.
