Hull City began their new league season with a 2-1 win over Bristol City before playing out a goalless draw against Preston last Saturday. And then, in the EFL Cup fixture at Northern Commercials stadium, Hull City opened the scoring courtesy of an own goal by Harry Lewis, but a brace from Andy Cook handed the defeat to the Tigers. After being eliminated from the EFL Cup, Hull will now turn their attention to Saturday’s contest where they have the chance to extend their six-match unbeaten run at home.

Norwich, on the other hand, are still searching for their first league win of the season. The Canaries began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City before picking up their first point against Wigan Athletic last weekend. And then, Dean Smith’s side managed to get the better of Birmingham on penalties. At Carrow Road, Norwich took a two-goal lead in the first half through Danel sinani and Jacob Sorensen before Jonathan Leko pulled one back for the visitors and an own goal by Jonathan Tomkinson took the game to penalties, where the Yellows prevailed 4-2 winners.
Hull City have a number of absentees as the likes of Brandon Fleming, Dogukan Sinik, Nathan Baxter and Billy Chadwick are sidelined with injuries. Head coach Shota Arveladze is likely to opt for a 3-4-3 formation with Estupinan and Tetteh playing up front and Sayyadmanesh deployed in a free role behind the front-two. As for Norwich City, Pukki is expected to lead the line with Hernandez, Nunez and Sorensen in support. Rashica and McLean could pull the strings in the midfield.
Hull City probable starting lineup: Ingram; Jones, Greaves, Figueiredo; Coyle, Slater, Tufan Seri, Sayyadmanesh; Estupinan, Tetteh
Norwich City probable starting lineup: Krul; Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, McCallum; Rashica, McLean, Sorensen, Nunez, Hernandez; Pukki
