Hull City have been in solid form since the resumption of competitive action following the World cup break. The Tigers are unbeaten in their last five second tier games, and that includes two consecutive wins against Birmingham and Wigan Athletic. Last time out, Liam Rosenior’s side put four goals past Wigan on Monday. Jacob Greaves opened the scoring inside the opening 14 minutes, before Oscar Estupinan doubled the lead 12 minutes from time. And then, Tyler Smith netted a late double to seal the win for the Tigers. It was their ninth league-win of the campaign.
Fulham, on the other hand, are also in a rich vein of form, having won their last three games, against the likes of Crystal Palace (3-0), Southampton (2-1) and Leicester City (1-0). The three-match winning streak lifted the Cottagers to seventh in the English top tier standings. In their latest outing, Aleksandar Mitrovic’s lone goal inside the opening 17 minutes was enough for the Whites to take all three points against the Foxes.
Hull city boss Rosenior is likely to rotate the squad in order to freshen up the team. The likes of Jacob Greaves, Regan Slater and Alfie Jones might be tested against the Cottagers. Smith, who scored a brace against Wigan, might lead the line, with Longman, Tufan and Sayyadmanesh in support. As for Fulham, Mitrovic will not be able to take part in their next league-match because of suspension, therefore Serbian striker might feature against the Tigers on Saturday. Daniel James is in line to feature on the right flank.
Hull City possible line-up: Ingram, Coyle, Flgueiredo, McLoughlin, Elder, Docherty, Seri, Longman, Tufan, Sayyadmanesh, smith
Fulham possible line-up: Rodak, Mbabu, Duffy, Diop, Kurzawa, Onomah, Chalobah, James, Cairney, Wilson, Mitrovic
