Heung-Min Son has been one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most dependable players over the last half-decade or so. After joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2015, Son needed little time to settle in with the London club. The left-sided winger, who can also play as a second striker, has been a consistent performer for the Premier League side irrespective of the team’s form. Be it under Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo or Antonio Conte, the South Korean has been one of the first names on the team sheet.
Son became the highest-scoring Asian player in Premier League history when he scored his 20th league goal in the 2017/18 season. He went one step further in the 2020/21 season, breaking the 20-goal barrier once more. This season, he scored 22 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions – his best return in a single season to date. He has also been a regular for his country, appearing in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups. In addition, he led their team to a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Notably, Son won his sixth ‘Best Footballer in Asia’ award in January.

The Tottenham Hotspur jersey’s white home kit has some interesting details attached to it. AIA is the main sponsor, and Cinch is the sleeve sponsor. The Nike home jersey for the current season sports the club’s traditional colors – white and navy blue. Unlike the previous jerseys, this does not feature any other accents colour.
However, the most interesting feature will be inside the collar, which will have the club’s first-ever logo. Inside the collar of the home kit will be a rooster badge resembling the original Tottenham rooster from 1921. It is kept there to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the team’s use of the rooster on their jerseys and as the club logo. The club also has an away kit – a black base combined with ‘Venom Green’ logos, filled with graphic print – and a third kit, which is mainly Wild Berry that has white logos and black elements.

The home jersey (2020) of his national team has combined red with a wavy gradient graphic on the front, largely inspired by the shape of the Korean flag. Black elements are also present on the jersey. The away jersey is an eye-catching one, which sports a tiger print design on the shirt and socks. The badge and Nike symbol, however, have a gold colour.
