Gibraltar have had a disastrous Nations League campaign thus far, not winning a single match, while losing four. In their last outing against Bulgaria, although Valentin Antonv’s opener was canceled out by Roy Chipolina, the Lions went on to score four more goals through Kiril Despodov, Radoslav Kirilov, Iliyan Stefanov and Marin Petkov to secure the win. Georgia, on the other hand, are undefeated so far, while winning four of their five games. Against North Macedonia, Georgia bulldogs opened the scoring courtesy of an own goal by Bojan Mivoski before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled the lead to seal the win.
Gibraltar boss Julio Cesar Ribas is likely to opt for a 4-3-3 formation. Casciaro could lead the line with Pozo and Ronan in support. Valarino, Tortilla and Walker could form the midfield-trio. As for Georgia, captain Guram Kashia is one shy of 100th cap for his country. Kocholava, Kashia and Kvirkveia could form the back-three with Tsitaishvili and Kakabadze occupying the flanks. Zivzivadze is expected to spearhead the attack.
Gibraltar probable starting lineup: Coleing, Chipolina, Lopes, Sergeant, Wiseman, Valarino, Torilla, Walker, Pozo, Casciaro, Ronan
Georgia probable starting lineup: Mamardashivili, Khocholava, Kashia, Kvirkvelia, Tsitaishvili, Knekveskiri, Aburjania, Kakabadze, Kvaratskhelia, Zivzivadze, Davitashvili.
The Nations League match between Gibraltar and Georgia will take place at Victoria stadium Tuesday at 12:15 am IST.
