Finland will be disappointed with their results in recent games. In their last six games, they have managed just one win to go with two draws and three defeats. A 2-0 win over Montenegro in June has been their only victory in the current Nations League campaign. Although, mathematically securing top spot in the group is still a possibility, Finland will know that it might well be a step too far and they would instead like to shift their focus on avoiding relegation to the third tier.
Romania too won’t be content with their recent results. They have earned just one win along with four defeats and one draw in their last six fixtures. However, that solitary victory was over Finland in the reverse fixture and Romania will need to drive inspiration from that to produce another result like that and escape the relegation zone.
Both the nations will have full squads at their disposal. It won’t be a surprise if both coaches opt to go in with their respective strongest XIs, looking at the importance of the game.
Finland possible line-up: Hradecky, Vaisanen, Tenho, Jensen, Uronen, Lingman, Kamara, Schuller, Niskanen, Kallman, Pukki
Romania possible line-up: Radu, Manea, Nedelcearu, Burca, Bancu, Sorescu, M. Marin, R. Marin, Alibec, Puscas, Tanase
