Although the reigning Hungarian champions Ferencvaros are the favourites to advance, if the visitors could put up a gritty performance like the home leg, we are in for a real treat. Tobol are heading into the tie on the back of a disappointing 6-1 loss to Taraz in a Kazakh Cup fixture last Saturday. Tobolyaki are currently sitting at the fourth spot in the Kazakhstan Premier League table with 25 points from 15 games, four points behind leaders FC Aktobe.

Ferencvaros boss Stanislav Cherchesov is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that started in Kazakhstan. Adama Traore, who joined the club from Sheriff Tiraspol, could start in the attacking department. Boli is expected to lead the line attack with Marquinhos occupying the space behind the striker. As for Tobol, Maliy and Tomasevic would form the centre-back partnership with Kairov and Amanovic occupying the full-back positions. Jovancic and Tagybergen are likely to sit in front of the back-four.
