Exeter City secured a dramatic victory against Peterborough at home last Saturday courtesy of goals from Timothee Dieng, Sam Nombe and Jevani Brown. It was the Grecians’ seventh league-win of the season. Prior to that, Gary Caldwell’s side got the better of Port Vale (4-2) in a FA Cup first round match. Jevani Brown netted a brace, while Archie Collins scored one goal for the Grecians at the Vale Park. Ipswich, on the other hand, are on a four-match unbeaten streak. After thrashing Bracknell Town 3-0 in the FA Cup tie last week, the Tractor Boys were forced to share the spoils against Cheltenham at home. Luke Woolfenden’s opener was canceled out by Ryan Broom last Saturday.
Sam Nombe, who netted in the dramatic win over Peterborough, is likely to partner Stansfield up front. Key, Sweeney and Hatridge are expected to form the back-three, with Caprice and Sparkes occupying the flanks, As for Ipswich Town, Ladapo might spearhead the attack, with Harness and Chaplin in support. Humphreys and Morsy could form the midfield-duo.
