The Scottish outfit will be participating in their fourth friendly of the summer, while Blackburn will be playing their second 90-minute friendly. Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title by collecting 93 points from 38 games, four points more than second-placed Rangers. Blackburn on the other hand, finished eighth in the Championship table, 11 points behind playoffs.

Celtic have secured qualification for Champions League football and would be aiming to make full use of their pre-season games before beginning their league campaign against Aberdeen on July 31. Angne Postecoglou’s side have two wins and a draw from their summer friendlies. The Hoops began their pre-season with a 7-0 win over Wiener Viktoria before playing out a 3-3 draw against Rapid Wien and then defeated Banik 3-2. Celtic will also play Legia Warsaw and Norwich before their league opener. The visitors began their pre-season with two 60-minute games at Accrington Stanley before registering a 1-1 draw against Dundee in a 90-minute encounter last Wednesday.

Celtic boss Postecoglou is expected to rotate his squad heavily in order to give enough game-time to the players and build fitness. Joe Hart, Cameron, Carter-Vickers, Stephen Welsh, Callum McGregor and David Turnball could feature on Saturday. As for Blackburn, Tyler Magloire and Ryan Hedges could return to the playing eleven. Brereton Diaz is expected to lead the attack with Gallagher in support.
