Burnley got the better of Coventry last Saturday, courtesy of Jordan Beyer’s lone goal eight minutes from time. The result helped Vincent Kompany’s side to extend their unbeaten run to seven league-games. The Clarets are heading into a comfortable finish in the top two of the English second tier, as they are 16 points ahead of third-placed Watford. Jon Swift, Tom Rogic, Jake Livermore and Jovan Malcolm found the back of the net for the Baggies at The Hawthorns. Meanwhile, when it comes to the Championship, the Throstles have won nine of their last 10 matches, a run which has seen them rise to the playoff spot. Their last league-game against Luton Town ended in a thrilling come from behind 3-2 win, courtesy of goals from Daryl Dike, Jayson Molumby and Conor Townsend.
Burnley centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis suffered a foot injury in the FA cup win over Bournemouth and is likely to be sidelined for around two months. As for West Brom, striker Brandon Thomas-Asante is serving a three match ban and won’t be available for Friday’s game. Dike might spearhead the atack, with Diangana and Yokuslu occupying the flanks.
