Watford face a difficult challenge in containing an in-form Burnley side when they travel to Turf Moor for an EFL Championship contest on Tuesday night. The upcoming match will be extremely difficult for the visitors to get anything out of it. Watford’s poor run of form in recent games combined with Burnley’s impressive streak will only make one clear favourite in this game. With the match also happening at Turf Moor, it is very difficult to see Burnley dropping points at home.

There is a huge gap between these two sides in the Championship table. Even though only five places separate them in the standings, there is a gap of 22 points between the two teams. For Watford, the biggest problem has been with their inconsistency. They have not been able to grind out results more frequently, leaving their supporters frustrated at times. On the other hand, Burnley are going through an incredible run of form.

Vincent Kompany has done wonders at Burnley this season. They are topping the Championship table on merit. Not only are they getting consistent results, but Burnley’s football has also been a treat to watch for any side. It is not what Burnley supporters are used to in a long time. Burnley have 68 points from 30 games to sit pretty at the top of the table. On the other hand, Watford have 46 points from 31 matches to be placed sixth in the standings.
