Burnley are undefeated in their last four games across all competitions. In their recent outing against Wigan, Josh Brownhill netted a brace, while Jay Rodriguez, Nathan Tella and Samuel Bastien scored one goal each to secure all three points for the Clarets. Prior to that, Vincent Kompany’s side defeated Shrewsbury 1-0 courtesy of Bastien’s 50th-minute goal to advance to the third round of the EFL Cup. The Clarets have registered two wins and three draws so far, and are just three points adrift of the leaders Reading.
Millwall, on the other hand, are without a victory in their last three games. Last Saturday, the Lions suffered their third league defeat of the season, at home against Reading. Naby Sarr’s 14th-minute goal separated the two sides at the Den. Gary Rowett’s men recorded the majority of ball possession (58%), but failed to create any clear goal-scoring opportunities. Meanwhile the Lions are winless in their last nine Championship encounters away from home.
Burnley midfielder Ashley Westwood is sidelined with a broken ankle. Brownhill, who netted a brace in the last match is expected to pull the strings in the midfield alongside Cullen. Jay Rodriguez is expected to lead the line with Nathan Tella and Barnes in support. As for Norwich, Fleming and Afobe are expected to partner up front with Honeyman operating behind them in a free role.
Burnley probable starting lineup: Peacock-Farrell, Egan,-Riley, Taylor, Harwood-Bellis, Roberts, Brownhill, Cork, Cullen, Tella, Rodriguez, Barnes
Millwall probable starting lineup: Bialkowski, Hutchinson, Cresswell, Wallace, McNamara, Saville, Evans, Malone, Honeyman, Fleming, Afobe
