Brazil will take on Tunisia in an international friendly at the Parc de Princes in France on Thursday night. Both sides are heading into the match on the back of victories in their previous outings. The South America outfit thrashed Ghana 3-0 on Friday, while Tunisia secured a narrow 1-0 win over Comoros, a day earlier. Both sides have qualified for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar in less than two months’ time, and this would be their final match to prepare for the tournament.

Brazil put three goals past Ghana without reply on Friday, courtesy Marquinhos’ 9th-minute opener and Richarlison’s brace before the break. It was a dominant performance from Tite’s side as they recorded close to 65% ball possession, while attempting eight shots on target, compared to just one by the Black Stars. The result helped the Selecao to take their winning streak to six games. The five-time world champions will begin their World Cup campaign against Serbia on November 24 before facing Switzerland and Cameroon in their remaining Group G fixtures.

Tunisia, on the other hand, are placed in Group D featuring Denmark, Australia and France. With defending champions France being the favourites to win the group, Tunisia would probably fight it out with Denmark and Australia to secure the second spot and go through to the knockout stages. The Eagles of Carthage have won five of their last seven games across all competitions. In their last outing against Comoros, Taha Yassine Khenissi’s lone goal in the 57th-minute separated the two sides at Stade de La Source.

Probable Lineups

Tite opted for a strong attacking lineup against Ghana, featuring Lucas Paqueta, Neymar, Raphinha, Vinicius and Richarlison. Liverpool’s Fabinho is likely to replace Casemiro in the engine room. As for Tunisia, head coach Kadri is unlikely to make too many alterations to the side that got the job done against Comoros. Khenissi could lead the line with Khaoui and Khazri in support.

Brazil probable starting lineup: Ederson, Militao, Silva, Marquinhos, Lodi, Fabinho, Paqueta, Neymar, Raphinha, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr.

Tunisia probable starting lineup: Ben Said, Mathlouthi, Ifa, Talbi, Maaloul, Skhiri, Sassi, Laidouni, Khaoui, Khenissi, Khazri
