Braga have been in brilliant form this season, having recorded six consecutive wins in seven games across all competitions thus far. In their recent outing against Rio Ave, the Portuguese outfit secured all three points courtesy of goals from Ali Musrati, Iuri Medeiros and Ricardo Hota. Prior to that, the Archbishops put two goals past Malmo without reply. Bruno Rodriguez opened the scoring before Ricardo Horta doubled Braga’s lead and sealed the win.Â
Union Berlin, on the other hand, failed to get anything from their first European match of the season at Alte Foresteri last Thursday. Senne Lynen’s lone goal in the 39th-minute separated the two sides. However, the Bundesliga outfit’s domestic form has been brilliant so far. The Iron Ones are occupying top spot in the German top flight standings with 14 points, from six games, having won four of those. In their recent outing against Koln, Temu Heubers’ own goal in the third minute was enough to hand the victory to Union Berlin.Â
