Bournemouth and Everton will face each other for the second time this week at the vitality stadium, this time in the English Premier League on Saturday, following the hosts dominant 4-1 win in the EFL Cup third round match on Tuesday. Bournemouth thrashed the Toffees in the mid-week courtesy of goals from Jamal Lowe, Junior Stanislas, Emiliano Marcondes and Jaidon Anthony. Meanwhile Everton scored a consolation goal through Damarai Gray. The result helped the Cherries to end their four-game losing streak. Prior to the EFL Cup win, Bournemouth lost 4-3 away to Leeds United despite the fact that Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke got the scoresheet for the Cherries. Everton are the perfect opponents for Bourenouth to face again, not just because of their struggles, but because they have never lost a Premier League home match against the Toffees in five encounters.
