Dortmund saw the departure of their star centre-forward, Erling Braut Haaland, this window. The Norwegian joined Manchester City this summer, however, the club did well to not only replace him but also strengthen other positions. Karim Adeyemi, Nico Schlotterbeck, Sebastien Haller, Salih Ozcan, Niklas Sule, Marcel Lotka and Alexander Meyer have joined them.
Haller, however, will be unavailable for selection after the club announced recently that he has testicular tumour, hence he will undergo treatment. Meanwhile, Villarreal have brought in two players so far in the form of Jose Luis Morales and Pepe Reina. Besides, quite a few of their players like Alex Millian, Serge Aurier, Sergio Asenjo, Ruben Pena and Xavi Quintilla have left the club. Both teams are expected to make a lot of changes to the squad in order to allow as many players to get game time.
