Benfica will host Paris Saint-Germain in a UEFA Champions League fixture at Estado da Luzon Wednesday night. Both sides have won their opening two Group H fixtures. PSG are occupying the top spot in the group, with six points and a superior goal-difference, while the Portuguese outfit are sitting one place behind them. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a goalless draw against Vitoria SC in a Portuguese Primeira Liga match on Saturday. PSG, meanwhile, got the better of Nice 2-1 in a Ligue 1 match, on the same day.

Benfica began their group stage of the Champions League with a 2-0 win over Maccabi Haifa on September 6, before defeating Juventus 2-1 at Allianz Stadium, a week later. The Eagles came from behind to take all three points against Juventus. Joao Mario canceled out Arkadiusz Milik’s early opener before David Neres’ 55th minute strike helped the Portuguese outfit secure the win. PSG, on the other hand, got the better of Juventus (2-1), and Maccabi Haifa (3-1) in their first two Champions League games of the season, last month. Against the Israeli outfit, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr netted for the Parisians to secure all three points.

Benfica defender Morato is sidelined with injury, therefore teenager Antonio Silva is likely to partner Nicolas Otamendi in the central defence. Ramos could spearhead the attack with Neres, R Silva and Mario in support. As for PSG, Messi, Mbappe and Neymar should form the front-three, with Pereira and Vitinha pulling the strings in the midfield.
