The most awaited fixture of the UEFA Champions League last-16 stage is set to take place on Wednesday night, when Bayern Munich host Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the tie at Allianz Arena. The first leg in Paris last month ended 1-0 in favour of the Bavarians, thanks to Kingsley Coman’s 53rd-minute effort. In the 2020-21 season, PSG eliminated Bayern in the quarter-final stage of Europe’s elite club level competition, on away goals, after the aggregate score was tied at 3-3. Prior to that, these two European heavyweights met in the final at Estadio da Luz in 2020, and the German outfit prevailed 1-0, through Coman’s strike on the hour-mark.
