Canada will resume their final phase of preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar with a friendly away to Bahrain at Khalifa Sports City Stadium on Friday. Canada are drawn in Group F for the global event, alongside Belgium, Croatia and Morocco. Bahrain, meanwhile, haven’t qualified for the World Cup and will be aiming to prepare for the upcoming Gulf Cup in two months’ time. Canada are heading into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in a friendly on September 27, while the Asian outfit lost to Panama with a similar scoreline on the same day.
