Arsenal Women began their Champions League group stage campaign with a thumping 5-1 win over Lyon, before getting the better of Zurich 3-1. And then, shared the spoils against Juventus two weeks ago. The English outfit will be aiming to maintain their top spot in Group C, when they host second placed side Juventus in the reverse fixture on Wednesday. The Gunners are currently occupying third spot in the Women’s Super League standings, having collected 21 points from 8 games. Their most recent outing ended in a narrow 1-0 win over Everton courtesy of Vivianne Miedema’s 24th-minute goal.
Juventus, on the other hand, put two goals past Inter Milan Women in their last match courtesy of second half strikes from Barbara Bonansea and Arianna Caruso.
