Armenia will be hosting Ukraine in the matchday five of the UEFA Nations League B Group 1. Armenia sit at the bottom of the group with three points from their four games. Ukraine, on the other hand, are at the second spot having earned seven points from four games. On paper, it looks an easy win for Ukraine but there certainly won’t be any room for complacency from them and it will require a strong effort to earn that all important win.

Armenia have been quite poor in their recent games. In their last six fixtures, they have managed just two wins to go with four defeats. Among these are some heavy losses like a 9-0 loss to Norway and a 4-1 loss to Scotland. Their defensive vulnerabilities are one of the main reasons why they are trapped in the relegation zone. Although highly unlikely, Armenia will need to win against Ukraine to go into the final matchday still in contention for survival.
Ukraine will be content with their latest results. They have earned three victories along with two defeats and a draw in their last six games. However, their heavy 3-0 loss against Scotland on Wednesday have greatly dented their chances of promotion to tier one of the Nations League. Still, with two matches still to be played, all hope is not yet lost for Ukraine and they will look to win both their remaining fixtures.
Armenia will operate without the services of Varazdat Haroyan and Eduard Spertsyan, with the duo suspended for the game. Oleksandr Zinchenko will miss out for Ukraine due to a calf injury while it is expected that the Ukraine XI will experience heavy rotations.
Armenia possible line-up: Yurchenko, Dashyan, Hambardzumyan, Voskanyan, Mkoyan, Hakobyan, Grigoryan, Babayan, Bayramyan, Zelarayan, Barseghyan
Ukraine possible line-up: Trubin, Karavayev, Bondar, Matviyenko, Mykolenko, Zubkov, Sydorchuk, Malinovskyi, Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk, Mudryk
