Alisson Becker is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the English Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. Hailing from the southern region of Brazil, Alisson first started his club career with Internacional’s academy in 2002. There he progressed with the youth team, and slowly made over 100 appearances for the club. He also won the Campeonato Gaúcho in each of his four seasons at the club before completing a transfer to Roma in 2016.
With the Serie A club, he made over 50 appearances and also received praises for his performances. However, after spending three seasons with the Italian side, he joined Liverpool in the year 2018 and ever since he has had an exceptional career playing for the Reds.
In his first season with Jurgen Klopp’s side, he received the Premier League Golden Glove for most clean sheets in the league.
