The Spanish club are heading into the match on the back of a 5-0 win over Intercity last weekend, while Besiktas suffered a 3-0 defeat at Wolves in their recent outing. Alaves had a disastrous La Liga season last term, finishing at the bottom of the table and got relegated to the Segunda division, while the Turkish outfit also didn’t have a great 2021-22 Super Lig, finishing at the sixth place in the standings and conceded the domestic league title to Trabzonspor. The Glorious One are preparing for their fourth friendly of the summer, while Beskitas are getting ready for their fifth one of the pre-season.

Last Saturday at Melia Villaitana Football Centre, Florian Lejeune, Abderrahman Rebbach, Luis Rioja, Jon Guridi and Mamadou Sylla got on the scoresheet for Alaves. This will be the last friendly for Babazorros el Glorioso before they begin their battle for promotion away to Leganes on August 13.
Besiktas on the other hand, after the game against Alaves, will also take on Sampdoria before kicking off their 2022-23 Super Lig season at home against Kayserispor on August 6.
