Williams introduced the FW45, their rival for 2023, as an addition to the Formula 1 livery reveals. After Haas and Red Bull, the team is now the third outfit to debut their vehicles, and fans were thrilled to see the matte-finished car with its blue and black colour scheme. Will Buxton, a well-known figure in the media and a familiar face in the Formula 1 paddock, hosted the event. The club’s driver lineup for the upcoming season included Alex Albon, who was returning to the squad for his second season, and Logan Sargeant, a rookie driver from the United States.

Evolution

The oil corporation has been signed as a new partner for 2022 after its contract with McLaren expired at the end of 2022. Gulf International’s conspicuous new logo is featured in the livery, which was displayed on an FW44 model. A “evolution” of the FW44 livery, according to Williams, the 2023 livery “retains the brand visual cues” and “embodies the exciting new age of Williams Racing [under Dorilton Capital ownership]” with a “contrasting diamond form and flashes of red and blue.” The finished FW45 was not shown, but a Williams statement defined it as “an extension of the FW44” overall, with “modifications to the front suspension configuration as well as the principal external aerodynamic surfaces,” as well as a “heavily advanced” sidepod design.

What Albon has to say ?

Albon commented: “I’m very happy to be joining the club again for another season. The car is stunning and will race at Silverstone. “I’m excited to see what the FW45 is capable of since the crew worked incredibly hard over the past year and the winter to fix some crucial issues in our vehicle, putting in the work to try and maximise what we get out of the car for 2023. It’s wonderful to have them on board. This year, we also welcome new partners to the team.

What Logan has to say?

After what has felt like a lengthy winter, Sargeant said he is “very ready for the season to start.” We’ve worked very hard, and I’m quite motivated,” he added. “I’m looking forward to getting started at Silverstone before travelling over to Bahrain,” he said. “The vehicle is looking wonderful and it reflects the enormous effort the team has put in the off-season.”

Williams Board Chairman has to say?

Williams’ board chairman, Matthew Savage, stated: “We’re happy to present this year’s livery as Williams Racing continues its transition. “We are thrilled with this year’s car, and I want to express my gratitude to the entire Grove team for their dedication to preparing for the season. Welcoming both new and current partners to our adventure makes me very happy. Williams Racing will give it everything in 2023 with the addition of James Vowles as our new team principal later this month and the intriguing driver lineup of Alex and Logan.
