As Formula 1 has developed, the total number of races has continued to rise (F1). The number of events has increased from seven in 1950 to 30 (24+6 sprint races) the following year. A driver has a greater probability of increasing the number of victories per year depending on that. The thriil of speed and rush, they enjoy everything and most competitive about the season. Many great have born and have raced in F1 to win and some perform some miracle feet which are recorded in history. The top five drivers on the list of drivers with the most victories in a season are all from the twenty-first century. The top five drivers with the most victories in a single calendar year are shown below:

5. Lewis Hamilton (10)

In 2015 and 2016, Hamilton claimed ten victories. He did, however, finish second to his German teammate Nico Rosberg in the driver’s championship despite winning 10 races in 2016. Rosberg’s victory over Hamilton in the final race, which ended the contest, sealed the deal. In 2015, Mercedes took home the victory in 16 of the 19 main events. Next year, there were 21 races, and Mercedes drivers won 19 of them, with Hamilton and Rosberg switching places more frequently.

4. Hamilton , Vettel, Schumacher (11)

Given that this number has already been reached nine times, eleven victories in a season may seem to occur frequently. When there were 18 races on the schedule in 2002, Schumacher was the first to do so. Back then, this was the record (broken by himself two years later). Vettel equaled the total from 2011 (with 19 races on the calendar). At the Indian Grand Prix, which was held at the Buddh International Circuit Greater Noida, Vettel earned his final victory of the year. Lewis Hamilton accomplished it four times with Mercedes in the years 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

3. Sebastian Vettel (13)

Vettel is the second driver to have won 13 races in a single season. With Red Bull, he accomplished this achievement in 2013. Sebastian Vettel not only won 13 of the 19 races, but he was the sole Red Bull driver to triumph in 2013. Mark Webber, a teammate, failed to record any victories. The fact that Sebastian Vettel won nine of those 13 races in a row was even more amazing. After the summer break, the German won every race he entered, from Belgium to Brazil. No other driver has ever won nine straight races in a single season, which is a nearly unbreakable record that Schumacher set in 2004 with eight victories.

2. Michael Schumacher (13)

This occurred in 2004, a year in which Schumacher and Ferrari could not be touched. In the season, he took 13 out of 18 races. He also set a 100% podium record, which will never be surpassed. Ferrari had their most successful season in company history that year with a total of 15 victories. In the first five races of 2004, Michael won five consecutive races. He went on an eight-race winning streak, which at the time was the longest winning streak, following a DNF at Monaco. The following Belgium Grand Prix saw him only manage a second-place result. At Suzuka, he last prevailed in the penultimate round.

1. Max Verstappen (14)

With his Red Bull, Max Verstappen is about to set yet another F1 record. His 2022 campaign will have the most victories in a calendar year if he wins two of the final four races of this season. At Suzuka, the Dutch World Champion completed his second championship. Despite a rocky start to the season, Verstappen’s RB18 kept getting stronger with each race, making it impossible for anybody to overtake him. At Jeddah, he achieved his first victory. From France to Monza, he went on a five-race winning streak.
