Jenson Alexander Lyons Button MBE is a British racing driver born on 19 January 1980 in Frome, Somerset and brought up in nearby Vobster, Mells to former rallycross driver John Button and Simone Lyons. He won the 2009 Formula One World Championship when he drove for the Brawn GP. Button enjoyed racing from an early age, racing a BMX bike with friends after school, and began watching Formula One (F1) motor racing with his father around the age of five or six.
