It’s possible that YapzOr won’t return to professional Dota 2 play anytime soon

During a recent Twitch livestream, fans of former Team Secret player Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat inquired about his potential return to competitive Dota 2, given his prolonged absence. While YapzOr did not give a concrete answer, he did mention that playing in the Saudi qualifier, likely referring to the Riyadh Masters 2023, was a possibility. The Riyadh Masters 2023 has been announced as the championship tournament for the inaugural season of the ESL Pro Tour Dota 2. The play-ins stage at the event could possibly feature teams from the qualifiers. While there has been no official announcement about the qualifiers for the Riyadh Masters 2023, YapzOr may be referring to the same qualifiers held last year for the 2022 event.

Fans of YapzOr will undoubtedly be excited at the possibility of seeing the popular player in action once again, despite his recent break from competitive gaming. YapzOr’s participation in the Saudi qualifier, and potentially the Riyadh Masters 2023, could reignite interest in the player and bring renewed attention to the Dota 2 esports scene. As of now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement to confirm YapzOr’s participation, but his statement has already generated significant anticipation among the Dota 2 community.

Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat, a former member of Team Secret, has been away from competitive Dota 2 since July 2022 due to health concerns. Although YapzOr is still listed on Team Secret’s inactive roster, the squad has been competing with Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov as its position four player. Recently, the team announced that they had replaced Zayac with Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy.

Despite YapzOr’s impressive reputation and skills, there has been no indication of his return to Team Secret. It remains to be seen whether YapzOr will compete in the Saudi qualifier for the Riyadh Masters 2023, and which team he may join. Given his familiarity with players from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, YapzOr could easily secure a spot on any team. For now, fans will have to wait and see if YapzOr decides to return to competitive Dota 2 and who he will play with.
