History Of The Organisation

Nova was founded in May 2016 as a Clash Royale clan by Anthony Yeung and his management team of Francis, Trevor, and Richard. Oktay, Matthew, and Steven eventually joined the team. Nova was founded as an esports organization in September 2016.

Imperium Group Global Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong-listed firm, acquired Nova Esports International Limited in 2020.

The organisation won the first ever Clash of Clans World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, in October 2019. The winning prize was $250,000 for the team.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020, hosted in Dubai, UAE in online mode, was won by Nova Esports’ Game for Peace (Chinese version of PUBG Mobile) team in January 2021. The team was awarded a total of $700,000 in prize money.

Nova Esports PUBG

Nova Esports, in collaboration with Chinese team X-Quest F, announced their roster for Game for Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile, dubbed Nova XQF, on July 9, 2020.

Nova XQF won the Peackeeper Elite League (PEL) Season 2 and over $140,000 on August 23, 2020.

Nova XQF won the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020 on January 26, 2021. The team was awarded a total of $700,000 in prize money. Nova’s Order (56 kills) and Paraboy (44 kills) were the tournament’s second and third highest fraggers.

At the PMGC 2021, Nova Esports defended their title and won the coveted event.
